Lisa Furman plays an eclectic blend of Celtic and traditional American folk music including old time, gospel and dance music.
Lisa's 2014 release, RODEO FEVER features original and traditional bluegrass, gospel and old time music with driving rhythms and compelling harmonies.(Click here for song samples.) In 2006, she released her debut album, "Lucky Girl", which featured a mix of traditional and original music which received airplay on folk radio programs throughout New England. She has performed at a number of venues in Connecticut, New York, Vermont and Rhode Island with her band, "The Blue Flies" featuring, over the years, a host of talented musicians and guest performers including Stacy Phillips, Dick Neal, Jordan Jancz, Bob Csugie, Stephen K. Miller, Howie Bujese, Gary Wikfors, Dan Hocott, Frank Pergola and Josh Cohen.
